Last updated: July 2026

Please read these Terms of Use and Conditions (the “Terms”) carefully before accessing or using [skinsmall.com] (the “Website”). These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and [Your Company Limited]. By browsing the Website, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Website.

1. About Us

The Website is owned and operated by [Your Company Limited], a company incorporated under the laws of [Hong Kong], with company registration number [XXXXXXXX], and its principal place of business at [Your Business Address] (“we”, “us”, “our”). We sell automotive diagnostic equipment and related accessories, including OBD2 scanners, Bluetooth OBD adapters, battery testers, tire pressure monitoring systems, and similar products (the “Products”).

2. Eligibility and Accounts

To place an order you must: (a) be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher; (b) provide accurate, current and complete information when registering or checking out; and (c) keep your account credentials confidential and secure. You are responsible for all activity carried out under your account. We may restrict, suspend or close any account for legal, regulatory, security or operational reasons.

3. Products and Descriptions

3.1. We make reasonable efforts to display Product descriptions, specifications, compatibility information and images accurately. However, minor variations may occur, and colours may display differently depending on your screen. Product packaging may differ from that shown on the Website.

3.2. Compatibility information (including supported vehicle makes, models, model years, protocols and functions) is provided for general guidance. Vehicle support can vary by region, trim and firmware. It is your responsibility to confirm that a Product is suitable for your specific vehicle before ordering. If you are unsure, please contact us before purchasing.

3.3. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any Product at any time without notice.

4. Orders and Contract Formation

4.1. Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch the Products, whichever occurs first.

4.2. We may refuse or cancel any order, including where a Product is out of stock, where a pricing or description error has occurred, where fraud is suspected, or where the delivery address is in a location we do not serve. If we cancel an order after payment, we will refund the amount paid to the original payment method.

4.3. If you notice an error in your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will try to correct it before dispatch but cannot guarantee changes once an order has been processed.

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1. All prices are displayed in [USD] and, unless stated otherwise, exclude taxes, customs duties and shipping charges, which are shown at checkout where applicable.

5.2. Despite our best efforts, pricing errors may occasionally occur. If the correct price of a Product is higher than the price displayed, we will contact you before dispatch and give you the option to reconfirm or cancel the order.

5.3. Payment is due at the time of ordering and may be made using the methods shown at checkout (such as [PayPal / credit and debit cards / other methods]). Payments are processed by third-party payment providers; we do not store your full card details.

5.4. International orders may be subject to import duties, customs fees or taxes levied by the destination country. Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are your responsibility and are not included in our prices.

6. Shipping and Delivery

6.1. We ship to the destinations listed on the Website. Estimated processing and delivery times are shown on the Website and at checkout. These are estimates only and are not guaranteed, as delivery depends on carriers, customs clearance and other factors outside our control.

6.2. Risk in the Products passes to you upon delivery to the shipping address you provided. Title passes upon receipt of full payment.

6.3. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not liable for delay or loss caused by an incorrect or incomplete address, or by a failure to collect a delivery.

6.4. If your order has not arrived within a reasonable time after the estimated delivery date, please contact us and we will assist in tracing the shipment.

7. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

7.1. Order cancellation. You may cancel an order free of charge at any time before it is dispatched. Once dispatched, the return process below applies.

7.2. Withdrawal / cooling-off (where applicable). If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction granting a statutory right of withdrawal, you may cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the Products without giving a reason, in accordance with applicable law. To exercise this right, notify us within the withdrawal period and return the Products in accordance with section 7.3.

7.3. Returns. Returned Products must be sent back within [30] days of delivery, unused, in their original packaging, and with all accessories, cables and documentation included. Unless the return is due to our error or a defective Product, you are responsible for the cost and risk of return shipping, and we recommend using a tracked service. Please contact us for a return authorisation and the correct return address before sending anything back.

7.4. Refunds. Once a returned Product has been received and inspected, we will process the refund to the original payment method within [14] days. We may reduce the refund to reflect any diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and functioning of the Product. Original shipping charges are refunded only where the return results from our error or a defect.

7.5. Non-returnable items. Products that have been damaged through misuse, modified, or had software licences activated or consumed in a manner that cannot be reversed may not be eligible for return, except where required by law or where the Product is defective.

8. Warranty

8.1. Unless a longer period is stated on the Product page, Products are covered by a [12]-month limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, starting from the date of delivery. This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, any statutory rights you have under the consumer laws of your country of residence.

8.2. The warranty does not cover: (a) damage caused by misuse, accident, liquid ingress, unauthorised repair or modification; (b) normal wear and tear, including cables, clamps and batteries; (c) faults caused by incorrect connection or use with incompatible vehicles or devices; or (d) firmware or software issues caused by unofficial updates.

8.3. To make a warranty claim, contact us with your order number, a description of the fault, and supporting photos or video. Where a claim is accepted, we will, at our option, repair the Product, replace it, or refund the purchase price.

9. Product Use Disclaimer

9.1. Our Products are diagnostic and testing tools intended to assist in reading vehicle data. They are not a substitute for professional inspection, repair or judgement. Diagnostic results depend on the vehicle, its systems and third-party protocols, and should be verified by a qualified technician before repair decisions are made.

9.2. Do not operate diagnostic equipment while driving. Always follow the safety instructions supplied with the Product and your vehicle manufacturer’s guidance.

9.3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for vehicle damage, repair decisions, or costs arising from the interpretation or use of data produced by a Product, except where caused by a defect in the Product itself.

10. Companion Apps and Software

Certain Products operate with companion mobile applications or desktop software, which may be provided by us or by third parties. Availability, features and continued support of such apps may change over time and may depend on your device, operating system version, and third-party app stores. Third-party apps are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including text, product descriptions, images, graphics, logos and software — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from any part of the Website without our prior written consent. Vehicle brand names appearing on the Website are trademarks of their respective owners and are used solely to indicate compatibility; we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any vehicle manufacturer.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not: (a) use the Website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose; (b) misuse the payment, discount or refund process; (c) use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to access the Website; (d) interfere with the operation, security or infrastructure of the Website; or (e) upload or transmit any malicious code. We may suspend or close accounts and cancel orders connected with a breach of this section.

13. Third-Party Links and Services

The Website may contain links to third-party websites and services, and our checkout relies on third-party payment and logistics providers. We are not responsible for the content, policies or actions of any third party. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

14. Limitation of Liability

14.1. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

14.2. Subject to section 14.1, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Products or the Website.

14.3. Subject to section 14.1, our total aggregate liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total amount you paid for that order.

14.4. The Website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or cost arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Website or the Products.

16. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, war, strikes, carrier or customs delays, network failures, or regulatory action. If such an event continues for more than [30] days, either party may cancel the affected order, and we will refund any amount paid for undelivered Products.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the [Hong Kong SAR]. Before commencing formal proceedings, the parties shall first attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through negotiation for at least 30 days following written notice. Any dispute not resolved within that period shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the [Hong Kong SAR]. Nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer protection laws, or of access to the courts, of your country of residence where applicable law grants you those rights.

18. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable. Details of how we collect and use personal data are set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We process personal data to fulfil orders, provide customer support, comply with legal obligations, and prevent fraud.

19. Complaints

If you wish to make a complaint, please contact us using the details in section 21. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it within a reasonable period. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements or business practices. The version in force at the time you place an order applies to that order. Updated Terms take effect when published on the Website; material changes will be notified where required by law. These Terms are published in English and may be translated into other languages; in the event of any conflict, the English version prevails.
